KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION KICK-OFF
FOR THE LINCOLN COUNTY R-III SCHOOL DISTRICT

Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year will BEGIN on March 2, 2026. For a student to be eligible to
register for kindergarten per Section 160.053, RSMo., student must be five years of age by July 31, 2026.
Enrollment for the 26-27 school year will be completed ONLINE ONLY. Go to our district website
(www.troy.k12.mo.us), Click on Families, click on Registration. Half way down the page there are 2 boxes – New to
LCR3 and New Child.
- If this is your first child to be registered, click on the New to LCR3 box and complete the online enrollment for
the 26-27 school year.
- If you already have students in the district, click on the New Child box and you will enroll the new student
through your parent portal: Login to your portal, click Menu, More, LCR3 Registration, New Student. Complete
online enrollment for the 26-27 school year.

To register your child for kindergarten, you will need to have the following items: if anything is missing,

enrollment will be placed on hold until it is received:

● Child’s Birth Certificate
● Child’s Immunization record
● Parent/Guardian picture identification (current driver’s license)
● Two (2) current (within 30 days) forms of proof of residency (i.e. lease, rental or purchase contract, utility,
medical, or credit card bill, current tax receipt, payroll check stub, voter ID card, bank statement)
● The following items will need to be emailed to the registrar – Tracy Scott at scottt@troy.k12.mo.us : Court
documents (if applicable), Statement of Residency, Proof of Guardianship, Divorce Decree/Parenting Plan, DFS
placement papers, Foster care paperwork, etc.).
